About the Institute

The Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan was established in 1981 and is registered under Society's Registration Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.The trust is established with intension of imparting quality education.

Presently the VPP Law College is offering three year Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree course with two divisions having intake of 120 students.

Looking at the current employability in various sectors, the visionary management of VPPLC spearheaded by amalgamating number of various courses for nurturing youngster's career.

Vasantdada Patil Pratishtan's Law College (VPPLC) is one of the top private Law Colleges in Mumbai. The dream of Hon. Late Padmabhushan Shri. Vasantdada Patil, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Governer of Rajasthan, scattering law education and providing top class higher education facility to greater number of promising student in Law was accomplished by Late Shri Manohar Mama Phalke and General Secretary, Adv. Shri Appasaheb Desai. The Law College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, recognised by Bar Council of India, New Delhi and approved by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra State from 2020-2021.

The college is strategically located in the heart of Mumabi city, on Eastern Express Highway and closely connected with central and harbour line local train stations. Amidst coconut lagoons and greenery, has spread over the border of college. The Pratishthan has total area of 5.69 acres of land, out of which 2.50 acres is for a playground. The College has a hostel facility for economically weaker section students within walking distance from the college.

On 1st March 2020, Honourable Member of Parliament and president, NCP Shri Sharad Pawar Saheb inaugurated the road named after Late Padmabhushan Shri Vasantdada Patil, which is adjacent to the college gate. Thereafter, Hon. Shri Sharad Pawar Saheb visited the college and discussed with the management about the development & progress of college.

On 24th August 2022, our college has established a Legal Aid Clinic in collaboration with Mumbai Suburban District Legal services Authority (MSDLSA) to provide free legal aid to the needy people.

Our college started Extension Programme DLLE (Department of Life Long Learning and Extension) from AY 2022-23 to provide students rapport with society and social causes/issues.

Our college has started Add-On-PG Diploma Courses in Labour Laws, Taxation Laws and Cyber Laws from AY 2023-24 with an intake of 30 each.
